Why Muslims?
With love and respect…
As Christians we have for too long forgotten our calling to reach out in friendship to Muslims. We confess this is often because we have held wrong views, false perceptions and bad attitudes. We want to repent of apathy, even hostility towards Muslims and reach out to them in love.
In doing this we take our example from Jesus who came to earth to live amongst us (Philippians 2). We go and live and work in Muslim communities - serving the poor, the outcast, the downtrodden, those who need healing and those who seek peace. We want to identify with Muslims – not convert them to a foreign religion or culture - but simply to love them in the same way Christ has loved us.
…inviting all Muslim peoples…
When God gathers all His people at the end of time, there will be representatives from every people group on the earth (Revelation 7:9) – there is no exclusion clause about Muslim people! Since Muslims remain among the least reached with the gospel, we believe Christians are responsible for going to them.
…to follow Jesus
For too long cultural baggage and misconceptions about “Western Christianity” have formed barriers to Muslims understanding what true Christianity is about – too often they have rejected the baggage not the person of Jesus! We aim to remove every possible hindrance to Muslims knowing the true Christ.

In spite of such barriers, God is revealing himself to God-fearing Muslims like He did to the God-fearer Cornelius (Acts 10:1-8). Muslims often speak of how Jesus appeared to them through dreams and visions and also of healings by God's power through Jesus. Vibrant fellowships of Jesus followers are coming into being and an increasing number of Muslims are hungry to know more about this Jesus.
