Middle East - Acts 6:4 Internship
If you're serious about serving in the Muslim world then you need to be serious about intercession - it's an essential part of the mix. A great way to step up your prayer life is to get immersed in a team focusing on just that. This is the vision behind the Acts 6:4 internship.
The Acts 6:4 internship gives five months of hands on training in Acts 6:4-style outreach to Muslims i.e. 'prayer and ministry of the word'.
The internship takes place in a Middle Eastern city and includes at least one international trip.
Programmes run twice a year:
1st September to 31st January &
1st February to 30th June

Central Asia - Snowboard/Ski Instructor
If you have a passion for snowboarding and skiing and also long to see Muslims hearing about Jesus, this unique opportunity is what you've been waiting for!
The village you'll work in is in a rural and mountainous region in Central Asia which already attracts foreign tourists in the summer. Now the village wants to develop winter tourism as well. Most villagers are poor and tourism is a great source of income for them.
We're looking for an experienced snowboarder or skier who has a head for business and entrepreneurial skills. You will help the community develop a business strategy and establish what is needed in order to attract tourists in winter. You will join a pioneering team, and need to be hard-core, ready to rough it, willing to immerse yourself in the local language and culture, learning how to sensitively share your faith with your new friends in a place that is completely unreached. You'll need to make a minimum two year commitment, expecting your project to probably take longer.
Africa - Personal Assistant
A team in Africa is looking for a personal assistant (administrative assistant) who is willing to join with them for at least a year to work alongside the team leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with administrative skills to experience cross-cultural living, to learn a local language and to explore options for the future. Here's what the current PA has to say:
"What a formative and foundational time this has been! Living in Africa and working with this team has presented me with a myriad of challenges and triumphs over the past two years, and I would not have missed this opportunity for anything! It has been so much more than merely an introduction to Muslim missions - it has been a complete immersion, igniting a vision in me, and then preparing me practically and spiritually to make this vision a reality. I have relished the chance to learn Arabic, to gain cross-cultural experience and to be exposed to life here with all its joys and hardships."
