Church Based Teams

While they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said,
‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them’. So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
Acts 13:2-3

We work in partnership with churches in Britain to serve their vision for work among unreached Muslims. Where a church is sensing a call to the Muslim world, we help envision, equip and enable a church-based team to go. The church owns the vision, raises up the team, oversees and supports the work; Frontiers brings over 25 years of experience in working in teams in Muslim communities.

There are great advantages to forming teams from an existing community:

> The team members are already in relationship with shared values.
> The home church leadership own and shape the vision and strategy.
> The whole church can participate through prayer, practical support
and field visits.
> The church and team together are blessed through involvement
in God’s purposes in the nations.
