READY, STEADY, ENGAGE!
How can they hear, unless..? “As remarkable as the progress among Muslims has been during the past 40 years, there remains a large number of Muslim People groups who have not been effectively engaged. |

In spite of our best efforts, many have yet to hear the gospel presented to them in a meaningful way – even once!” Quotes taken from: ‘From Seed to Fruit’
"If you’re looking at a valley filled with a whole host of villages that have just been covered by an avalanche, how do you decide which one to dig out first? You just have to pray, pick one and then dig!" Greg Livingstone.
Sarah's Story:
“Before I ever came across the term ‘unengaged’, I knew that I wanted to spend my life hanging out with people who’d never had the chance to hear about Jesus. That calling hasn’t changed. And, in a matter of weeks, I’ll be moving to South Asia to join a brand new team working amongst a completely unengaged people group.
Deciding where to go has been a bit of a journey; a mixture of God speaking quite specifically combined with me figuring it out along the way. I’ve chatted it through with church leaders and friends, and I’ve actively looked for others with a passion to break new ground in the same region of the world. As I’ve connected with others on the same journey with Frontiers, a team has begun to form and we’re now ready to hit the ground running.
Not that much is known about the people group we’ll be living and working amongst. And, although we can plan a bit, we know we’re going to have to be flexible. Our first few weeks are sure to include prayer walking around the neighbourhood. Talking with local people. Taking our first steps in learning the language. Perhaps even living with a local family for a month or so. During this time we’ll discover who’s welcoming and open. This will define where we base ourselves.
As we get ready to step out on the journey, there are many unknowns. But we know that God goes before us and with us, and that we can trust in his love for us, and in his love for the people.” Sarah, on her way to South Asia.
