Can you live in a challenging environment? Do you have a heart to serve? Do you like children?
The education situation in many of the places we work is far from ideal and home schooling is often the best option. Those on the team responsible for the schooling can have difficulty learning language and have less time to share the love of Jesus in their community. Even more, the extra strain sometimes means the difference between either carrying on or returning to their home country!
Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you know of anyone who may be interested. This would be a gap year or short term experience to remember - some have enjoyed it so much they’ve decided to stay well beyond their initial commitment.

What would we expect from you?
>> A mature, responsible Christian with a heart to serve others
>> 6-month commitment (minimum)
>> Assisting children with their lessons (materials provided)
>> Ideally some teaching experience
>> Willingness to live in community with other Christian workers (not necessarily stuck in a house with a family!)
>> A teachable spirit to learn about and fit into local culture
>> Willingness to submit to team rules (for safety and the good of all) including a sometimes restrictive lifestyle
>> To raise some or all of your own support (expenses will vary depending on the team, location and your desired standard of living - we can help you with a budget)
